Yes, across Europe. For most countries we run a dedicated shop in the local language with local rates; find them via Starlight lasers.

Yes. Every Starlight lasers pointer is a true 1 mW Class 2 laser under EN 60825-1:2014, the European standard. Below 1 mW a laser pointer is legal to own and use. Many "1 mW" pointers from marketplaces actually measure 5 to 50 times higher and are illegal. We measure every unit.

Never point at eyes, people, animals or vehicles. A Class 2 laser (1 mW) is protected by the natural blink reflex, but deliberately staring into the beam must always be avoided. Pro models have safety keys so children cannot switch them on.

A Class 2 pointer is usually allowed in hand luggage, but rules differ per airline and country. Remove the batteries and check beforehand. Pointing at aircraft is a criminal offence everywhere.

Always. Regular models come with 2 AAA batteries; Pro models with a rechargeable 18650 or 16340 cell and a charger. Spare cells can be added to your order.

A full 18650 cell gives 2 to 3 hours of continuous use; a 16340 (compact models) about 1 hour. AAA batteries last 3 to 4 hours on average. Charging takes 3 to 4 hours; the charger light turns from red to green.

Full-size Pro models (G1, G3, R1, V1): 18650. Compact Pro models (G2, R2, V2): 16340. Regular models (X1, X2, M1, Z1): 2× AAA. It is always listed under Specifications on the product page.

Green (532 nm). The human eye is most sensitive to green, so a green laser looks up to 7× brighter than red at the same output. Red (650 nm) is the classic presentation colour; violet (405 nm) makes fluorescent materials glow.

Indoors in daylight you see the dot of a green 1 mW laser at 30 to 100 metres. In the dark the dot is visible at hundreds of metres and with a green laser you also see the beam itself. Red and violet reach less far.

Yes. A green laser is the animal-friendly way to disperse birds: they perceive the moving dot as a threat and fly off, without habituation or harm. Use it at dusk and move the dot slowly across the ground towards the birds.

Yes, in moderation. Choose a red or green regular pointer, keep sessions short and end the game with a tangible reward so the cat is not frustrated. Never point at the animal's eyes.

Yes, you have 14 days from delivery. Report it first with the “Withdraw from contract here” button at the bottom of the site; within one working day you get the return instructions. Please do not send anything back before you have them. Return shipping is at your cost. We refund after receipt and inspection.

You get a 1-year warranty on defects under normal use; your statutory rights apply as well. Report a defect first via the returns page with your order number and a short description. Often we simply send a new one. If the product has to come back, we refund the shipping cost once the defect is confirmed.
